ABOUT
João is a renowned tattoo artist specializing in dark fantasy and oriental art. His creations incorporate powerful symbols like snakes, skulls, chrysanthemums, and dragons, exploring the boundary between life and death.
Influenced by masters like Filip Leu, Mauricio Teodoro, and Greg Irons, João evolved from metal band bassist to world-respected artist.
When not tattooing, he stays creative playing guitar, constantly drawing, and traveling for cultural inspiration.
I began tattooing in 2004. My journey was unique, learning from legendary artists by collecting their work on my own skin.
My style blends traditional Japanese elements with Western influences. Bold work that respects tradition while breaking boundaries.
Based in London since 2018, I maintain a devoted international clientele, with 8 spots a month in the USA.
